The God's Master Plan - Short Motivational Story

A lazy man who looking for an easy and simple way to get things for himself. Once upon a time, in a village lived a lazy man. He always looked for an easy and quick way to feed himself.

One day while he was searching for something to eat and fortunately he saw a fruit farm with fresh fruits all over it. The farm was very attractive to stare at.

the lazy man quickly ran towards the fruit farm and looked around to see if anyone was guarding it. He did not find guarding anyone so he decided to steal some fruits.

He continued doing this for days and it was an easier way to get something to eat and for free as well. But one day, as usual, he walked into the farm and began to climb an apple tree.

the farmer saw him and shouted at him and ran towards him with his stick in his hand. The lazy man froze up at the sight of the farmer running towards him.

Climb an Apple Tree

He fell from the tree and ran into a forest neighboring the farm. After some time, he began to explore the forest and while passing through, he saw a wonderful scene.

There was a crippled fox. It had only two legs and was still crawling on them happily. The lazy man was amazed and thought.

How can this fox stay alive in such a condition? Obviously, the fox can’t run how he must be able to feed himself and stay alive from the threat of other animals the true value of life.

Suddenly, he saw a lion coming towards the fox with a piece of meat in his mouth. All the animals ran away and the man also climbed a tree to save himself but to his astonishment, the fox walked as he was before.

The lazy man was curious to see what will happen next. Surprisingly, the lion left that piece of meat which was in his mouth for the fox to eat.

The lazy man felt good by seeing God’s play. He thought that God who is the creator of all always has a plan to take care of his creation.

He felt that God must have thought and planned for him too. So, he left that place and sat somewhere alone waiting for someone to cross and drop down some food for him too.

Time passed, he kept looking at the road waiting for someone to bring him food. He waited there for more than a day without any food.

Finally, he couldn’t bear hunger and started to walk further in search of food. He met an old sage on the way. As the man looked very tired and hungry, the sage asked him what happened to him.

He told everything that happened to him and also blamed God for everything. The sage first took him to his house and gave him some food and water.

After having it, the lazy man asked the sage, “Oh wise one, the God had shown his mercy on the crippled fox, but why God was so cruel to me?”

The God's Master Plan

Short Motivational Story

The old sage with a smile said, “True! That the creator has a plan for everyone on this Earth. You are no doubt in the thoughts of God and therefore, he has planned for you too.

But son, you took his sign in the wrong way. He didn’t want you to be handicapped and helpless like the fox and He wanted you to be like the Lion. He wanted you to use your strength and ability to find food for yourself.”

Moral of Story: Often we misunderstand the signs. Always remember that we should see this world and the things around you on a positive note with yourself being in a strong position to help the ones who need it.

Don’t go for the easy choice which will make you dependent and weak. Rather, always make that choice which makes you a leader.
